I was wondering if anyone knows where one might be sold, perhaps around a 2" cowl with rounded sides? I'm thinking it might be easy to fab one up to work with the SLP SS over engine air box?
You would need some foam for a seal against the underside of the hood(unless that's how the air box already works for the SS hood) and simply box the cowl channel maybe?... You'd also need a debris screen, hmm. I saw one a few years back for GM full size trucks that had a vacume operated vent a few inches forward of the back edge of the cowl.
Or could be used with an aftermarket version of the SS box like this : http://www.lmperformance.com/2821/2.html
I also wouldn't mind if the hood looked like this : http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/2/web/434000-434999/434224_5.jpg
Let me know what you guys think.
