Well, Im driving down the road to work, and I was about to shift at about 6500rpms, and I heard a pop noise, and my car just died. Timing belt is fine, I noticed my o2 sensor wire was burned up so I replaced all the wires, and it wanted to start for half a second, then died. Im thinking its the o2 sensor.
Injectors are getting voltage along with the o2 sensor connector. What fuse would it have blown because all of them are fine. And I know the FP is fine too, I can hear it when I crank the car.
I need my car tomorrow for school, so I need to get this shit fixed today.

Any smoke or anything? Do you have any type of logger? Cause you can get o2 voltage from that to see if the sensor is bad. How does it sound when it runs?

is the timing set right. you could have jumped a couple teeth on the cam sprokets. the thing that scares me is that that popping noise could have been a piston hitting a valve or something like that. check the timing. here are some other things to check. check your spark, check your fuel, and check the vaccum then post what you found out and ill try to help you some more. also what year make and model is your car.

Well, right now its at my community college and my teachers will help out with it. Wheres the best place to buy a new engine though, Im thinking instead of dealing with this one, I can drop it and put a new one in within a day, then rebuild this one and put a lot of power into it.

Uh.... are your teachers like auto mech If so your going to probably need more than a day to pull and then drop another one in there.. if thats what you were saying..

First you need to check all of your I/C piping, this happened to me and all i did was blow the coupler apart on my LICP. Check it and let us know.

Try doing a compression test, if it's something electrical a new engine might not help.

i agree with ez...a compression test will likely tell you whether you bent any valves or not (if that's even the case) but check your i/c pipes too. but had the i/c pipes come off, you'd likely hear a whooshing of air when the turbo spools up. car-part.com has used engines if you don't feel like speding all the money on a new one.
