Anyone out there with pros and cons for the Freestyle. The main reason I'm looking at this vehicle is the seating/cargo versatility in a fairly fuel efficient package. I considered the new Mazda5, but with leather and more space and little more upscale feel for about the same price as this leftover demo, I think it's a better deal.
I'm giving my 2000 Impala to my mother in law, since they were only offering $1000 for trade (Canadian car in kilometers trying to trade in the US). Now I have to figure out the maze of gifting the car back to someone in Canada from Virginia. Probably spend over $1000 in duty/taxes. Loved the Impala for the 6 seating when necessary and the huge trunk for travels to Canada at Christmastime, and comfy back seats for a growing boy. Hopefully this new Freestyle will fit our family just as well. Considered a Pacifica, but looked at the nhtsa site for independant complaints and the Pacifica was all over the board with problems. At least this Freestyle seemed to have a few problems that were consistant, and seemed to be something that I could manage as long as I bought an ESP from Ford.
Anyone with comments on whether they love or hate, or whatever the Freestyle, I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks!!!!!

Hope you enjoy the freestyle. That was going to be my next vehicle until I saw the Edge. I figure in about 10 years or so I will be purchasing the freestyle. I think it has a nice stance. The interior was nicely put together and wow what alot of room. Seems to be real safe for occupants too. I see more and more of them on the road here. Have Fun!!!!!
