alright, im new to the jeep world. just purchased a 2000 jgc i6. nice and loaded. i want to make it look more aggresive. ive been hearing from people about a 2"bb lift. is that just a spring spacer lift? i want to get bigger tires as well but that will be in about another 2 weeks. probably some 31s. hwo much would i be looking at spending for the 2"bb lift? do i need new shocks or could i use the stock shocks on there? thanks in advance,

You may want to check to see what rear end (axle) you have.
It may make a difference on how big of tires you put on your Jeep.
The Dana 35C axle is known to have problems with big tires b/c it is undersized.
If you have a Chrysler 1/2 Ton axle under it, you should't have any problem.

with a 2" budget boost you'll really only be able to clear 31x10.5 at the biggest with out cutting sheetmetal up.
the d44a (in the v8s) and the d35c (in the i6's) both won't have any problems with that size unless you're too skinny pedal happy and put yourself in a sticky situation where the axle is bouncing around in the trails.
make sure if you go on ebay to get the poly spacers and not aluminum.
