Another Nextel trick

"In order to track the GPS position of your phone, you need 2 things...

1. a phone with GPS
2. a computer with internet

Then turn on your phone and press #, *, MENU, RIGHT ARROW

Then scroll down to GPS, and then select location.

if the location is N 46.7809 then that means its 46.7809.
if the location is S 46.7809 then that means its -46.7809
if the location is E 46.7809 then that means its 46.7809.
if the location is W 46.7809 then that means its -46.7809

Now get the latitude and longitude and enter them both into
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp

please note even if you don't have telenav, it will STILL work and you will get a map of your cell phone's location. Please note, it will only work when you have your cell phone with you, unless someone else has it and you ask them to get the numbers for you."

my W is 118.80064. Since i have to put a (-) in front of it, I have to omit the last 4 in my number. It's pretty crazy how far off I get because of it (maybe a mile).
