2004 tb fuel filter location

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on my Trailblazer? I hope not in the gas tank.

L/s of under body near the tank

I have a 2005....and the factory manual set. From everything I can find about it, it is in the gas tank with the fuel pump, and it states this is a run to fail item, not on the periodic maintenance list. This seems strange that they would do this since everything I have owned in the past says to replace the fuel filter every 20K mi. I anybody knows that this is wrong, please post and let me know where the true location is.

I havent looked real close on my 2005 yet, but I *think*:uhoh: 2002-2004 had an inline filter on the frame rail, and 2005+ have a sock in the tank.

You are absolutely correct, 02-04 TB/Voys have an inline fuel filter located just forward of the fuel tank on the drivers side frame rail while 05+ TB/Voys have an in pump fuel filter, so the filter and pump are the same unit.
