I have an 89 Civic LX and got codes 15 and 16. The car runs fine except when I go somewhere and turn it off after it warms up, it won't start back up. The motor just turns over and doesn't start up. Also, I will be driving sometimes and it will just die on me without warning, then it will start up after a few minutes and do it over again. I know the codes are for the ignition and the injectors, but it will still run, just when it warms up and when I turn it off, it won't start and it dies, but then it will run again. I was going to replace the distributor tomorrow to see if that does it. Any ideas of what I can do to get rid of this problem? Let me know. Thanks.

Check your fuel injectors. Main relay under dash (left of change tray) is culprit for faulty starts in short trips when car is hot.
As far as ignition, when's the last time you had a tune up? Plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor... make sure rotor screw is in all the way.
