i WANT A CENTER COUNSEL

i have a 2002 silverado (w/t) ...yess yeess i know the "white trash, hahaha"

anyway....my center counsel as you all may now, does not fold down...i want a center counsel that folds down, but im in college and dont have $200 ish to buy one off of ebay.....does anyone know if those can be converted into a folding seat???

no, there is no way to mod the center jump seat that you have. the bars inside are welded steel. sorry man but either you can start saving now or deal with no armrest. i had the same jump seat as you until i found a good center console on ebay and installed it. its so much better.

If you have a place close by that customizes trucks, you may be able to find one there. They almost always change the seats in the trucks and may practically give you what you need to get rid of it.

if you have a auto parts yard neer. you could hit them up. sometimes thay will have the part you need cheep. its just being there when thay have it. befor it gets riped up.
