door lock actuator

i have a 97 Chevy Z71 ext. cab (power locks) and the passenger side door lock will not actuate when the button is pushed but the drivers will go up and down everytime you have to lock and unlock the passenger side like a manual locking door from the inside or outside with the key...can this be anything but the lock actuator ?? just checking before i buy one thanks Jason
