bmw; park distance control

hi all
i was wonding if i bought the origanal parts from a dealer can i fit them myself with out needing a dealer to program something or other..... i have tons of experance with car electrics but i know how sensitive bm's are

your can install this but the dealer would have to change that VO(vehical order) basically it would be telling the car that it now has this function. or your can install after sales pdc i know htey make if for the X5 and it dosnt need to be programmed. but is also dosnt work as well.(rear only)
