ls/vtec...few extra questions

first...ive seached the web and forum for info before posting this thread so please dont tell me to do that again...ive got a few unanswered questions....i plan on using a b16 head to go on teh b18b block i have now...if i do this swap...i know i will need to get a vtec ecu and i will get teh golden eagle kit to run the oil to the head, but im confused about the knock sensor...i know that a lot of vtec ecu's will shut off vtec if they have a knock sensore error..so do i need to install a knock sensor or can i get a ecu without that programed into it....for a distribueter wat do i need to do...i know i need one out of a vtec engine but ive read that it has to be compatable with my ecu...how do i know what is compatiable...do i need to replace any other sensors like the o2 sensor..it seems to me like that could be a problem but i dont know....and my friend said i would have to add a vtec selenoid...any ideas wat he was talking about as far as that...the last thing i need to kno is about the water pump and timing belt..ive read that the stock ls will fit but its a good idea to replace them bc teh vtec timing belt as 21 teeth not 19...how big of a deal is this...owuld it be ok if i did the swap and a month later had the money to replace the pump and belt.... is there anything else im missing???thanks for any help
