Hey, I was wondering, what are the major differences in the Evo series compared to the Eclipse GSX (AWD)? Are the platforms completely different? I know they both use the 4G63 engine, that's the only common component I am aware of.

This came about because I was telling my friend about how much I want an Evo, and he said why don't you just get an AWD Eclipse and mod it. Just wondering about your thoughts on this..

GSX isn't anything compared to an evo. An evo has an Active Yaw control, an Active center differential, an infinitely better suspension, bigger brakes, recaros stock, A completely different transmission, the steering is quicker, and the engine has stronger internals, a better turbo, and a front mount intercooler. Its what the GSX aspires to be...The GSX is a quick road car, the Evo is a race car that was dressed up and thrown out on the street. The EVO has SOOO much more potential than a GSX does...
