It's not an F1, but it was designed by former McLaren employees, with some apparent consulting by The Man Himself.

Not too sure about the apparent consulting by Gordon Murray. I just read that the people involved with this used to work at McLaren. It says "Founder members worked closely with the renowned and highly skilled car designer, Gordon Murray." but it doesn't say what project they worked with him on. I think they are being vague on purpose, hoping readers will assume that they are talking about this project rather than the F1.
I seriously doubt GM had anything to do with this car. It is interesting, but it has a lot of extraneous items that he would never endorse. And at this stage, it's nothing but sketches on a screen.
Also, over 3g in cornering forces? Without active camber? Do you believe it? I don't.

And at this stage, it's nothing but sketches on a screen.I'm sure they have a prototype already, as the web page says production will begin in late 2006. That would give them a year's worth of testing before production.
Also, over 3g in cornering forces? Without active camber? Do you believe it? I don't.If it's a formula one car with a windscreen (which is what it appears to be) I can believe it.

I will give them a call and ask about pricing, availability, GM's involvement, if any, etc.

Google Mercedes S400 carver concept and I think there was a Cornell professor who made a car called the Lean Machine...it was written up in Classic and Sports Car magazine sometime in 1984.
The technology is waiting for motorcycle-style tires to be produced for cars. Last I heard, it was supposed to be in place in 2007 or so.

I think I love it. Its not the prettiest thing, but it should the claims be true, it should shut the Veyron guys up. If they can seriously squeeze 500hp out of a street legal 2.4l V8 @10,500rpms, I will by most impressed. I hope for the best with this car. It would be cool if GM consulted, but I don't think it is necessary to have a great car. They probably threw his name in for the publicity of it.

I think the looks should be more "mature" when the final design come out!
But this is not the real looks , I still wish there is some change over here and there....
