installing gauges

hey ppl :D my friend has a 92 integra ls and he got his indiglo gauges yesterday, and we were trying to install them today, but we can't get the trim off. we can get that trim part off up to the A/C controls, after that i'm not sure what to do. i thought we just had to pry it off, but i didn't want to break anything so i didn't try. So I just need to know how to put them in thanks.
