head bolts

I am getting a litting bit of Oil in my my 4# cylinder, Its kinda wierd becuase all the other cylinder's are fine. I am getting oil on my spark plug. Anyways my question is Should I ""retork"" my head bolts, I seen people retighten there head bolts on civics by giving the head bolts a quarter turn but im not sure if i can do that on a dsm,

please help on this becuase im not trying to F*$# my motor.


Also the engine is a 4g63 DOHC, And then engine got 154,000miles on it.

those bolts are tty (torque to yield) an example of it would be set to 22 lbs and add a quarter turn. to be safe ild take it down to the head and make sure the headgasket isnt about to blow. then ild send the head off to be checked for warpage and cracking < as a precuation. taking it down to the head< good weekend killer alone, with some buds, itll take less<but make sure you keep track of things(got a camera... you better kill at least a roll maybe even 2). but again that would be me, and being probibly overly cautious. i never liked tty bolts mostly because they are one time usage bolts. and i would certainly not retorque them because that extra 1/4 turn twists the bolt and if you retorque that you might just spin it off. then you are in a world of shit. over all price including new head bolts head gasket and all the seals and gaskets above.... 150 max. send it off and it sails north from there. but im sure other dsm'ers might say contrary to me, but i just HATE tty's when i didnt change them my head blew another 50 grand miles later (grand total when i sold it 250,000 miles)

compression test, then a leakdown test. the rings are probably getting pretty worn down with 154,000. might be time for a re-build
