SLP PowerFlo X-Pipe

Was just wondering if anyone knew if I could put an SLP PowerFlo X-Pipe (No Cats) on stock 99' Cobra headers and stock exhaust? or do i have to get their catback exhaust to? cant find out where to email them on their website.

Yeah, it should bolt up fine, assuming it's like other x-pipes. SLP doesn't make bad products, but alot of people have problems with them in the mustang community, because they're trader bastards.

The only problem I have seen (not for a mustang by the way) is that on the LS1 Fbody's the long tube headers hung way lower than other company's did and tended to scrape.

^ Mr. Luos (ws6) was so unhappy with slp that he painted over all their logos so you couldnt see them on the parts lol

Any X-pipe made for the 99-04 Mustang GT or 99-04 Cobra will fit just as long as it's not for the girlomatic transmission or non stock headers. Without cats you run in to two problems one it throws a code so you have to get MIL eliminators, chip, or programmer (don’t get a pred.). Two you will lose some low end torque in favor or high end HP. You need to ask yourself what you would use most so if you are not going to see high RPMs all that much stay with cats and remember that our cars aren’t really low end torque friendly to begin with. Honestly the best X-pipe out there is the Bassani stainless steel X-pipe (I’m not to sure about the BX series). Here is a tidbit of info, the 2000 Cobra R was equipped with a Bassani X-pipe from the factory.
BTW do you know if your car had the "fix" done or not?
