I'm looking into picking up some exhaust tips... i really like the borla dual round angle cut intercooled tips (http://borla.com/products/product_multi_detail.aspx?cat=3&type=62&desc=Polished+Tips|Dual+Round+Angle-Cut+Intercooled)... but ive heard they sometimes dont fit right, they dont clean up well, and the little things inside make your exhaust sound ricey... any truth to that?

I don't care for the Borla tips on a Trans Am.

I like basic 3.5" slash tips.
After a quick search...best pic I found.

Well I've got the rectangular tips on mine. [PIC] (http://www.blindeyed.com/29b.bmp) They're almost identical. And I can't complain about mine at all. They're easy to clean, and fit perfect. As for sound, at idle, my car sounds sick... But sice it's a V6, it gets the high pitched sound at higher rpm's, but nowhere near as bad as the guys w/ Flowmasters. So i figure with the sound I get at idle, it's gotta sound even better for the V8's.

its a breeze im not sure what year you have but once you get the console out its simply a couple of screws and walla pops open you put it in and back together would take a whole 30 min at most.

30 minute install. Just be careful when putting the new white face on.

The way of the mullet??

It is a Trans Am....It automatically gives you a mullet when you get behind the wheel.
