If I drain the oil out of the car could I drive it to where it needs to be fixed? As long as it isn't to far?

NO! If you run the engine without oil you will destroy the engine. Drain the oil and put in some cheap oil. You will need to change it anyway so don't spend a lot on the oil until after the car is repaired, also make sure you change the filter at the same time.

What engine?
How far are you going to drive it?
How bad is it leaking?
If it is leaking coolant very fast it could over heat to.
And put it all of the coolant back i the oil pan back.
It would be a lot safer to call a tow truck.
A tow truck may be a 100 dollars and may be covered under insurance.
But a new engine may be 2-3 grand.
Think about it. MT

Put the correct amount of oil into the vehicle just like you were going to do an oil change. Then drive it directly to the repair shop. Driving it further can result in bearing damage.
