Hello
I have bad wind noise in my 2002 cavalier LS, I have checked all trim and weatherstripping, all looks new. It is worst on the drivers side right at the top corner of the window, I can pull in on it from the inside while driving and it dies down. I can open the back door and look at the top corner of the front door and it looks like it is not even touching the rubber. Car has never been wrecked.
Please Help.

It sounds like the window applique to me, you know the black thing on the outside of your door that goes from the bottom of the window to the top of the door? Roll down the window and remove the weather stripping along where the window sits at the back of the door. There will be 3 screws holding the applique on. sometimes they'll crack right where the screw holds it to the door. That will cause a wind noise. You'll have to replace it if the applique. It may also be loose, try tightning the screws if it is not cracked, but not *too* tight. They can be a bit of a pain in the ass to replace, just be sure not to lose the bottom screw down in the door panel... trust me, been there done that..:uhoh: :grinyes:

I had the same problem. THe dealer fixed, no charge. said it was a customer service thing. THe doors can get slightly twisted. THey fixed it, sprayed door rubbers with silicon spray. works great since.

just fixed this problem today actually.....when you open the door, look where to clip is that the door latches onto, there is 2 bolts on it, loosen them, and push the latch towards your interior more, and tighten...should take care of it.....I had god awful wind noise, I mean I crank my music and still heard it over the music....no, completely silent, what it does is whe nyou move it back more, makes the door seal more because the latch is back which holds the door closer to the interior.....let me know if that works!
