went to look at a 92 deville for sale in our area that was cheap. it has a transmission problem ive never seen before.
When you crank the car, the engine runs, and pumps the Transfluid out of the transmission onto the ground.
with the car running, a stream about the size of what the dish detergent bottle allows, runs onto the ground. from the front of the car, i can see the transmission pan, and the stream is coming from higher up than the gasket. it is coming from the front of the transmission, about 4 inches to the right of the left edge of the transmission pan.
anyone have any ideas on what this might be? I want a 92-93 deville, and look at them all the time, but have never heard of one doing this.

Could be a bad convertor or pump seal, broken cooler line, you need to get a closer look at it, if not the line, the trans comes out.

I think the key word in your question is "running" , you should be running as far away as you can get from the car, if it was an easy fix the owner would
probably keep it.

the pump is probably bad.. common gm problem.. instead of the pump pumping the fluid into the trans it pumps it right out the front seal..
