External temp sensor

My 2001 Buick LeSabre external temperature sensor is giving improper readings on my display. Where is the external sensor located? Behind the grill?

In front of the radiator on the vertical support in the middle. It's about 2/3 of the way down about the size of a finger tip. Try unplugging it and plugging it back on to check the connection.
