I have a 2002 TJ, 4L
I noticed that the coolant overfill tank was a bit low when the coolant was cold so I decided to buy some to top up. It's clear that my Jeep uses the red long life type. Off I go to Canadian Tire.
I picked up a small bottle of premixed long life coolant. The bottle is yellow. Says that's its universal. The artwork on the cover shows red coolant mixing with both the green and red stuff. I assumed that I was buying the red type.
At home, I opened the bottled and found out it's yellow... Decided not to add until I understand what I purchased
Am a bit confused. Can anyone confirm what Jeep uses and what this yellow stuff is?
Thanks
Seb
