3rd. Brake Light, Dimming lights

Hey what's up? I have two question, 1st. Where can I get the 3rd. brake light for my 97 Max, and how much would be?
2nd. I have a system on my 97 Max, nothing big; However, when it's booming the lights dimm. I know that I should get a distributor cap, I heard that will help. Also when I put the windows up or down the lights dimm aswell,, no the stereo is not loud. Could it be the battery?? Help, anybody....:confused:

I really don't know what is causing your lights to dim.
has your battery ever been replaced ?
if it's the same one from the factory did you open the cells and check the levels ?

you are from Miami too, that's cool. I know like 10 owners with modded Maximas in the area.

My vote would be your battery. Check or have it checked for you. then if it is okay have your alternator checked.

Only time you really use your battery is when you are starting your car. It will be your altinator thats where all the power is being drawn from when you have a system really the power does not sit in the battery. You need a cap not matter what size amp it is unless its a lil mids and highs amp it is better to speed the extra 80 and not an extra 280. I'm in Miami as well (well near it) prob seen my max around. Its the alternator or voltage regulator.
