That fucking groundhog was right. Today London was hit with about 15 cm of snow. But not to get me down, I took out the car for some fun in the su....snow!!!!

This is a short video, right click+save as, of my friend filming through my sunroof. As you can hear at the end, where we all start laughing like little school girls, the snow got whipped up by my tired and owned us all in the car.

Nice dude.. driving in the snow/ice is fun. Also I hope you treat your Mazda 6 better than the dumbass that owns one down from the street to me. It was brand new last year and I just a couple of days ago heard it with some kind of weird whining noise coming from the engine bay.

Damn your car is going to be dirty when the snow goes anyway.

HAHAHA, the infamous Mazda6 supercharger noise. No trust me thats "normal" for the 6. It has something to do with the vacuum on the intake that causes it to whine like a supercharge past 3.5-4k rpm and when downshifting (especially in 2nd) it sounds like fucking sirens. Weird noises come from my engine bay, even though it's one of the quietest cars I have ever heard.

No it isnt that.. it was like whining all the time.. i've heard it on other cars it sounds similar to when you dont have alot of power steering oil.

But I know about what you're talking about, and yeah that gets loud. Its when the 6's VTEC kicks in. :lol2:

Well if the weather clears up here I'll try and have a recording of the noise from my cockpit past those rpm ranges and you might hear the hining noise. I doubt you should hear it outside the car, if that's the case then tell him to go back and get a new car.

BTW, the steering on this car is oh so smoothe. Like hot butter...omg i wet myself.

Raz.. I know what it sounds like, the supercharger noise that you're talking about.. mainly because I raced him and I could hear it since my windows were down, but he doesnt take car of his car and thats what im trying to get across.

Yea we were rollin around in the snow for a good 30-45 mins with not interruptions. Some cops are cool, last year I was in a mall parking lot (after hours of course) and mall security and the cops joined in on the fun. They even gave me some other locations to try out.

it was 60 something today i dont remember what snow looks like I'd even be happy with rain right now. Next time Colorado is going to be in the news is "the entire state of Colorado is on fire due to yet another year of record setting lack of snowfall." The mountains are getting plenty, but all that moisture is going to be used to put out fires in the plains. Raz, love the 6, have you had problems with people hitting you? my co-worker has gotten hit 3 times in his in 2 years. "gee thats a nice car, I'll go in for a closer look."

No problems with the 6, other then people trying to race me for no apparent reason, giving me dirty looks etc...


It snowed yet again today, it was insane from dusk till now it has been snowing liek crazy. Roads are packed with snow, the plows have been eaten by the giant gorilla from hell. People are sliding into poles because they think snow doesnt affect their driving. In total I have seen maybe 20 accidents alone today, tis why I didn't want to risk taking my car out for some more fun in the snow

Thats good. I always see my friend with his 6 and I feel sad for it.. he's always mashing the gas, running it cold, breaking like crazy. Seriously that guy shouldnt have a car, and to make it worse he bought it with the money that he got from his mother dying and already he's looking to trade it in for a different car. How messed up is that?

Well I havent had my car fr a year yet and already looking to trade-in for another car...the Mazdaspeed6 that is. Still putting that on hold because word has it that there might be an awd conversion for the current 6 that will be "reasonably" cheap to do. If thats the case then I'll go with that and slap on some twin turbo's on the V6 and be that much better the the MPS6

yes, there is an AWD in the works. not sure when its gonna be released yet, seems pretty sweet though.

Well it's basically taking the transmissions/drivetrain and all that goodness of a Jag.


Still gonna wait for someone to try it before I do.

man that's some fun drivin.....i love drivin in the snow, because to get out of a skid, you actually have to use your throttle instead of your brakes *smirks*
