break hub!

ok, i know this is a supra forum but i used to have one so i think i can post on more time. Ok here is the deal, the tercel forum is no help. My brother has a 95 toyota tercel dx non abs and i need to get the back hub off but it won't come off i tried to oil it tap with hammer and it will not budge. Does any one know how i might be able to get it off? Do i have to take the whole bearing assembly off to get the hub off? help, plz!!
