Calipers are already a glossy black. But it started chipping. So I figure what better time than now to do it correctly.
That is an old pic....since painted quickly. Started chipping within a couple months. This time I bought caliper paint, and will do it right.

what color you going to do them? I saw a black 02 ws6 today with red calipers and i think they look good.

No way would I go red. WAY too stand-off'ish' for me.
I would NEVER go any color other than the car itself.
Glossy black...same as the car. Basicly makes the calipers 'disappear' behind the wheel. That is what they were....but I was lazy and didn't apply it correctly.

How much $ is that stuff? it really makes the car look more slick and sporty.
Mr. Luos

$12 or something if you can find it/order it from a local auto parts joint.
I had to order it from Summit so I had to pay their handling costs.

A couple companies actually have a descent tail light tint film. I'm sure it could be cut and applied to this idea. Nice TA though man!!

Thanks!
The cool part about this paint is that it allows light through it, but still appears black. Basicly a tint in paint form.

I've never even heard of this stuff, but i'm betting it's going to look great! I like the theme of painting the calipers to match the car, as opposed to making them stand out.

does light still show through or is it like those lame stick-on black outs that people put on their headlights and taillights?
