Climate controls

my circulate/recirculate buttons sometimes flash back and forth. It usually occurs when I am adjusting where the air comes out (floor/panel/defrost).
Has anyone had this happen before?

Hey, thanks for the thread. It looks like I can do that one of these days when I get some free time. My car is a 98 cutlass, i'm sure it is all the same in there as the malibu.
