I have a 2003 Blazer that I just scanned...
Came up with the following code..
P0445 Evaporative Control System Purge control Valve Circuit Short.. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.. I used to work on older cars. But some of this stuff I have know idea how to fix it..

Sounds like you may have either a plugged-up line to the charcoal cannister, or one of your many vacuum lines are unplugged.(A long shot is your gas cap is off or not tightened correctly).
The cannister is behind the driver-side rear wheel, you might wnt to check for any loose hoses back there.
Edit; Let me add, that anything related to emmissions is covered by the manufacturer for 5 years under Federal law in the US, so no mater what the problem, the General should cover this.

Just to clarify the emissions warranty, Fed. and Calif are different check your warranty book, the basic emissions components are 3/36, the cat and pcm are either 8/80 or 7/70.
