turbos?

does anyone know what cars toyota put the ct-20 turbos on? I hear that the will replace the ct-12 that are on the 1ggte.Do I need a manual boost controllers for each turbo or will one work,and if so how would I hook it up? And do they go in the black hose that runs from the turbos to the wastgates?

Only the CT12 will bolt onto the 1GG manifold, not the CT12A or CT12B. If you want mild upgraded turbos for the stock manifold for some reason you will have to look for the TRUST twin TD04 kit, but it's very rare and thus expensive. What other mods do you have, I would suggest against a boost controller as a first mod unless you have done alot to go along with it. You would use only one BC by the way, and run all new vacc line to the waste gates and pressure ports.

Instead of shelling out big bucks for a kit like that you could have a manifold made and put some DSM GT-25s on. Depending on your power goals a single GT-25 with upgraded internals may be enough.
