What do you guys think? High miles, not running quite right, but its AWD, manual, 6 bolt, with in a couple hours drive and running half ass enough to get back to B-Town :grinyes:. What do you guys think? How much should I pay for it? I am excited guys, I might get a project of my own that I can work on under my own terms. Fuck humanity, Thor might finally find a life mate :p. EDIT: Anyone in the twin cities area that can help me get it up here? Red Wing is a long ways away, if someone could get it from there to to the cities or something I would greatly appreciate it (I'd pay for your expenses and shit). PM me...

junk...it's been used and abused. starting to rust, body is beat up, not to mention how well the motor has been taken care of. i'd stay away from it and find something in alot better condition. don't settle for something that you don't 100% want but you'll buy it just because it's for sale at the moment.

Thats why I want it. I dont care much about the body, eventually it will get paint anyway. The shitty engine is the main reason I want it, its all going to get replaced anyway, why waste money buying one with a good engine? It wont be a daily driver, so I dont have to worry about it running good. We'll do a compression test and if for some miraculous reason its got good compresson, I'll start modding it it right away. If the compression is mediocre to shitty, I'll pull the engine and rebuild it. Not to mention, 1g AWD's especially unmodded arent easy to come by in MN. I was thinking about a grand. Also, does that front bumper look like it got the bottom half ripped off or is it just black? Keep

I just talked to him. Its even more of a POS than I thought... there are a couple more problems than he said in the auction. The guy doesnt know anything about cars. It is completely unmodded, and there are only those couple minor surface rust spots. He said that he has a few offers for $1200, but who knows if hes talking shit or not. He says he wants $1200 for it, but if he really did why did he set the reserve at $800. I'm thinking that I'll bid on it until it goes about like $900 and when it ends I will email him saying I'll give him $800. We'll see what happens in 3 days.

No, no, no, no. I meant that my high bid would be $900 and if I got out bid, I would offer him $800 (knowing that I would have to go up a little) if the high bidder didnt follow through. No, I am not a cheap piece of shit like that.

The car also burned a quart per 1000 miles and there was something else, I just cant remember.

That car has definetly seen better days. I wish you luck and I would expect an engine rebuild if it's consuming a quart for every 1000 miles jut think all you have to do is change the filter cause you'll always have new oil in her.

Also, the guy couldn't have cleaned the car before he took the pics, look at the shifter and the dash, it's all nasty. I wouldn't buy this car unless you are seriously looking for a car that will require extreme tlc just to make it look right and run right. GL

No, its on eBay for $800 now. Hopefully it wont go much higher (but I bet it will) and hopefully they are dead beats. We'll see how it goes.

Well he blew a head gasket and the head was warped.... But he got the head resurfaced and everything is basically just waiting to be put back into the car... its still the stock tranny but new everything else i think..

The only thing that will be wrong with it is it's automatic!! I was also planning on repainting it, the only reason it's not done is because ted's car is still in my garage. I could probably have it done by spring break (has to warm up a bit to paint anyway) let me know if you're still interested cause i'm pretty sure i'm gonna sell it soon. I'm not really sure on the price, that mods in my sig are still on it but i plan on taking some out but if you want it left modded I can leave everthing on.
