1991 problem

Hi, During the last 20 miles of a 150 mile trip the car started acting like it was gasping for breath. ( going a normal speed then pulling back, going normal speed then pulling back etc etc )

The battery is fine and terminals are clean. Could it be the fuel filter is clogged?

Any ideas?

Hi, Watcherman, Your fuel filter assumption is a very good one! Know why? They are a real challenge to replace for the average person, Also in a difficult spot, Like alot of those vehicles on the street it probaboy has the original one still on it, Buy one, Install it, It will not be wasted money......GOOD LUCK.....Clay..
