my 95 cavalier 2.2L had a recent problem, when ever i came to a complete stop the car would just shut off, i would put it in neutral and it would start right back up, what was kind of weird was that once i started taking off it shaked alot, the mechanic said it was sum hoses that were bad probaly air hoses or brake hoses cant recall and got it fixed and stopped, this happened about 2 months ago, and it just started doing that same thing again, i stop, the car goes off, and then it shakes like crazy until i reach about 5 MPH then it stops and rides smoothly, what can this be i need some help...

Try TCC Selenoid. Had same problem with my 95 race car and it was a bad TCC. I would come to a complete stop and it would jitter and stall. I throw it in park or Neutral and starts right back up. Open hood and right in the front right behind the radiator to the right you will see a blue plug. Unplug that and drive around. If it does not stall then thats your problem. Good luck

well i recently took it in to get that checked and also to check a bad thermostat i had, they replcaed the thermostat, and found nothing that might have been causing the stalling but now it does not stall anymore, could it have been because of the thermostat that it stalled???
