I was looking at a vr4 and on the back it said gto. Being a muscle car guy i got offended because thats the name of my favorite pontiac evermade (66 six pack) but then i realised pontiac stole it from Ferrai but still why does it have GTO on it:screwy:

correct me if im wrong i do know the GT stands for Grande Tourismo and forgot what the 'O' stands for (french word ). i do know that the japs designed it for some kinda racing class. like nissan gtr grande turismo racing. they probably changed it for the american market when they realised that there were pontiac GTOs running around at the time

GTO is a racing class and some manufactures use it in the name of a car. Ferrari used it first as you said, so you can be offended all you want.
