Haven't seen a build like this in a long long time.

The kit is the Hasegawa Honda Civic VTi/ETi. I decided it would be fun to make a ricer out of it. :grinyes: The color is Tamiya Coral Blue with Krylon Ultra-Flat for the hood and front quarter panels.

The rims are going to be Racing Hart CP-035. Spoiler and muffler courtesy of Fujimi tuner accessories kit. There are a few other "tuner" add ons like the "Momo" steering wheel and the "M3" side mirrors. The spoiler WILL be backwards and on the car.

Possibly mesh behind the front bumper after it's been painted silver. And altezzas if the clear parts will let me do so.

ah ha..that's one interesting build there....
i would like to suggest a few things here
1) stock brake callipers and rotor in the front and the rear using drum :D
2) fake sunroof
3) performance doors stickers :D
4) stock piping with big exhaust system .... :)

LOL I was going to suggest a cracked up primer body kit thats falling off but i see your on top of it. Maybe some flame or dragon seat covers would do....

mismatched wheels?

- cheapo-brand tires with white lettering...and wanna-have-tire-brand-stickers on the windows :uhoh:

- definitely needs duct-tape to keep the body-parts from falling off :silly:

- a huge tach...not connected, though :1zhelp:

- fake self-adhesive hood-pins

- or go full tilt and install a waterfall and massage-seats (WCC-style...)

- and a self-adhesive "race" fuel-filler-door

....I'm really looking forward to seeing this one finished

Don't Forget The "NOS" Or "FnF" Seatcovers & Floormats From W-Mart(lol)
And Nothing Says Ricer Like The (V-tec,Boost,NOS) Inside Decals
Or Better Yet,A Three Gauge A Piler Pod With No Gauges In It

funny how everyone calls it a "huge fart can" when it's the same size as the fart cans seen on Supras, Skylines, rx-7's etc.

looks like a fun project however

Well you see Jaymes, cars with Turbos actually benefit from a larger exhaust. They pull in more air, there for they need to push out more air. Now naturally aspirated Hondas with no engine mods actually loose horse power when big exhaust are installed becuase there isnt enough back pressure need for the engine to perform adequitely. Thats why there a joke. There put on just to make make the engine sound different, worse in my opinion.

One more thing to have:
Mismatched "mini" foglights hanging from the front bumper by zipties...:iceslolan

That looks like an intended mock on ricers, I dont think anyone in reality will actually own it and think they are cool at all.

That backwards wing looks totally a stick out sore thumb and unreal, how about turning the rear spoiler back to the right direction? I think it would look even more of an authentic ricer that way.

But that would make down force on the rear wheels. If you have it backwards, it will lift the backside up putting more on the front wheels. All "real" racers know that.:twak: :D :shakehead

Now THAT'S hawt! Talk about beautiful quality body work! I might want to try that some time :shakehead he he, especially the 1, 2, 3... 8(!) pipe exhuast system!

Anyhow, this type of project is something I have thought about for a while, I wanted to make a ricer-crashed-into street-light diorama or something. Yours sounds cool so far! I wanna see it! I know you've got a bunch of suggestions, but I'm going to add a couple more:

A wild, loud color (maybe with that glitter clear coat stuff) with multiple paint chips in the front and on the rocker panels. And the ones I've seen have really bad orange peel on the skirts lower bumper areas, and roof. And some totally clashing decals.
A flat black hood a huge flaming NOS logo dead center (seen only one real one so far) :shakehead
Neons. Definately. And a different color that the car or any of it's accents.
Flaming seat covers and a speaker box velcroed on top of the rear seat with exposed wiring running everywhere.
He he: an "All Motor" windshield banner (don't forget the racing red plug wires. Wait. this is Curbside, huh? Too bad...)

Geez the list could go on, I can't wait to see what you can do with it.

I think my favorite ricer pic was an EK hatch with a full knock-off vielside body kit, huge shopping cart rear wing, mirage chameleon paint, huge 20-something inch blinding chrome rims, and the grand finale... a GMC blower body and hat, complete with carb linkage and everything, big red butterflies. Facing foreward too       Bet that was one fast ride :naughty:

I'll be keeping an eye on this one....

Oh and dont forget to paint dash bezels and door handle bezelz an insanely bright colour that clashes with the whole car....oh yeah but make sure the paint is peeling and chipping off cause the plastic wasnt prepped b4 painting

Wow...you got some really deep aerodynamics knowledge taught me. I had always thought that spoilers make the car look cool, didn't know there are so many uses to them....

May I can also use them to let my mom iron....ER-MM I mean can I use them to iron my clothes for me?

Don't have photos, but there is some "keying" on the car, some curb rash, and some paint "chipping". The BMF is also laid for the Altezzas.

Might I suggest http://riceboypage.com and www.laughatrice.com for further reference. Personally, I'd take the wing right off and replace it with a cardboard wing (god knows I've seen enough of them on the street.)
