If you had syrup like stuff in the filter better pull the tank out and see whats, what!

Well i figured it out...........the fuel pump was def. dead i put a new one in today(only 4 hours of work!:banghead: ) I have one question though when we looked inside the tank there was a green ball a little bigger then a ping pong ball floating inside the tank. I have no clue what this ball is or if it should even be in there. Does anyone know anything about this?

It probably came out of the filler neck. The ball is a check valve ball. This allows gas into the tank, but prevents gas from going back up the filler neck.
