Help me forget about Honda

Since I got into a car accident I've been driving my brother's rsx-s for a while. It looks nice, the interior is nice, great power with I/H/E, and the thing the really bugs me is the handling (with eibach sport lines). Man everytime I get to drive my car it feels like im flying off the seat when I turn. Too much body roll. The other thing is the shift transition. Since its N/A it shifts smoothly unlike mine when i let go off the gas and drop the boost you can feel a little jerk. Sometimes when my mom wants to sell my car and get something else I think of ITR but what i really want is the awd launch :). Can I match my brother's handling? Some AGX shocks, springs, and what strut bars and sway bars are there? I just feel like im cheating on my DSM when i drive my brother's rsx-s cause I'm having fun, especially vtec... Oh man the rice in me. God have mercy.

If you are thinking that the rsx has superior handling then....:banghead: You can easily make your car handle good. There was nothing like the handling I had on my gst. Gas shocks, tein coilovers, strutbars/swaybars...the works. That car would grip the corners like no other and never make you feel like you are about to spin out. Everyone always tried to get me to sell my gst but I held on for an extremely long amount of time, until I finally did sell her and now 75% of me is regretting it. Trust me...don't sell. Shit breaks and sometimes things suck but it'll always get better. As long as you have some rainy day money to back the car up...

Hmmmm, how to make him forget about Hondas. How about this:

vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmm PSHHHHHHHHHH

Or what that feeling when you dump the clutch at 4500 rpms and you are thrown back into your seat? You wont get any of that with a Honda. What about a possible 12 second timeslip? Wont get that very easily with a Honda. Granted it will take practice and some money, but it will take lots more to get a Honda to see 12s than a DSM. Hang in there man.

haha. I have driven my friend rsx-s while I enjoyed driving it, I blew the doors off that car with my GS-T, I put bus lengths on it. But it's a good car, but I would never drive that over a turbo eclipse just for shear power.

If you like the RSX just go get a 06 SI Civic. Same K20A. Anyway you look at it, that New SI is a Bad F**king 4 banger.

Yea... Thanks guys, I'm still straight up DSM and I really want a GSX. I already told my parents im selling mine and pursuing my dream, an AWD Turbocharged dsm. My mom hates old cars though, she complains about how i keep on working on my car and oil drops on the garage floor. So what kinds of strut/sway bars are there? Front upper strutbar, rear swaybar, rear strutbar? Coilovers or Lowering springs?

I think theres sway bars on the front and back. I'd go springs, I think coilovers are way overpriced especially when you wouldnt adjust it a lot. I'd just decide how much you want it lowered and find some springs that will lower it close to that.
