4dr dx blows fuses

Yeah i came across a 88 dx 4dr and its in good shape in and out.. the only problem is that the people have been trying to get this thing runnin fora while.. new plugs wires starter alt and new fuses..
the problem is that it may have a sort since the fuses keep blowin out... any one else knows why this would happen?

my quick answer is not enough ground wires or not properly grounded

any other clues to help? what were they doing when it started happening? any other symptoms? did they alter anything that mght have caused this...stereo, alarm, or any other work?

they said it started for a while(2 mins) then it apruptly stopped. Then they checked all the fuses and they were all blown. He told me it might have a short somewhere but he doesnt know were.
