92 4dr o2 sensor

i was looking at a 4 dr the other day and they only want 400 for it ....
i know that its a beat up piece of isht but thats a good chassiss...
n e way the o2 sensor wire has been cut im just wondering why any one would do that ??

trying to swap out with a universal one? rewiring it or getting a new one is no big deal.
