Anime Central 2006

Hey all, is anyone going to this? It's held in Rosemont Illinois at the Hyatt for 3 days with all kinds of goodies and fun:biggrin:. My girlfriend and I will be going this year and she will be cos-playing as Lain from Serial Experiements Lain. If anyone is going maybe we could meet up or something. I believe it's the first weekend in May this year.

If it wasn't so far up north it would sound fun, maybe when they have one down in fl I'll go.

They have Otaku's like this all over the country all the time... we have them here in Northern VA a couple times a year. They're fun as hell.

3 days of no sleep and non-stop action in different rooms, not to mention the costumes? Hell yes.

cosplaying is dressing up as your favorite character... you can get costumes and shit at all kinds of shops (ebay = teh best)
