tune up parts

I have had a look around at three places for parts for my tune up, and have found some big differences in price. Anybody have any suggestions as to what brands are good? The parts I'm looking at are the spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor and OČ sensor. (already have platinum spark plugs)
One more thing. Anybody using platinum plug wires? They are a little less than double the copper ones.

Platinum anything in a metro is a waste. NGK plugs for 1.09 a pop.

I beg to differ, the real advantage with platinum plugs is the longevity. The platinum last long enough and resist fouling that the cost is easily offset.

I bought the cheapest Bosch Platinum plugs, and they seemed to add a little power boost as well as a small improvement in fuel efficiency. If they last much longer, than all the better.
Bosch also has lifetime warranty wires. Any thoughts? I thought that copper just eventually oxidizes and then it is no longer usefull. All you have to do is check your grandmas old stereo wires to see my point, and they aren't exposed to the conditions of an engine!
