Man, I have been trying to call qwest, for the past 2 weeks, all for a few simple questions. Well, tonight has been the worst. 138 minute wait, screw that shit. A few days ago, it said a 18 minute wait, and I waited on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. Bastards they are.

If you are talking about qwest the phone company then I agree they suck major ass. I used to work for them and I can say in my experience they are the worst comunications company out there, they have no idea what they are doing and probably never will since I am no longer there to fix what they mess up.
If you want to talk to someone faster call up and pretend like you want new service and as soon as someone jumps on the phone trying to sell you some tell them to get someone who can help you.

i HATE companies like that.... the worst is them makin you sit there on the phone like an idiot expecting for them to help me. Everytime i have to call some technical support or somethin like that, after about 15 min. i get pissed
can't they hire more people, it seems like they have one person answering all the calls :angryfire:

Wow, I completly forgot about this post. :)

Anyways, no, it was for Qwest DSL Service, but thanks for the offer. Sweet, so I play like I want new service, and I get through faster? I will keep that in mind. Also, yes, I do do tech support, but I kick ass at it. :)

I work in tech support and alot (not most) of them are idiots--that includes myself. I'm "supporting" HUGE systems that I wasn't even trained for! I'm guilty myself of leaving people on hold for several minutes...just so I can ask the people who know what do. And sometimes, there aren't enough tech support personell to go around. The bad thing is, the company treats the quality knowledgable analysts like garbage, or worst, lays them off. Every lay off sees the veterans being replaced by rookies, so no wonder tech support is so bad.
