I have this lovely pair of Carbeurators from a turbo esprit from europe somewhere. I bought them from a very nice englishman.
From what I understand the lotus stock ran on 8 PSI of boost. Would I need to do anything to make them operate on twice that? 1 bar or so.
Its not for a lotus, but since their a lotus part I figured I would ask a lotus forum.

Whenever you push the boost up you increase the risk of pre-ignition. So you will need to run on higher octane fuel.
