Ive been pulled over 3 times. First time was for rolling thru a stop sign, i was 16 and the really dumb thing about it was that there were 2 cops sitting just about 10 feet away from me, when i saw those lights for the first time man, what a buzzkill:smoker2:

Second time for speeding after leaving school, damn cops were always stopping someone.

Third time is a good one, I was on my way to pick up my woman and i went thru a stop sign cuz the only car coming was about 3 miles away, so no big deal. i'm driving and a see these headlights comin up in my mirror, so i naturally speed up, dont want some ass riding me. im going about 80 then a stop sign comes up i gotta turn so i must stop, so i brake and BAM! those fuckin lights come on. so cop comes up and is like "you know you didnt stop at that stop sign." and im like ok, finally asks why i was speeding, and i tell him, "i got kind of scared because i saw someone coming up behind me and they wouldnt pass me." i dont know if believed me though. and to top it off, all 3 only warnings. sorry about the length. so whats your story?

lol,

When I was 18 I had my baby (before my goat) an 86 IROC Camaro, Well another guy had a 85 5.0, well all the other guys at work wanted me to show them what i had, so after work which was 7am (worked 3rd shift) I got in my Rock, went to the traffic light and waited for my friends to pull up, well light turned green and I held the brake and punched it, smoke was everywhere, i mean i could not see out of my car. well i let go and hall ass about a quarter of a mile when what do i see im my rearview?? Flashing lights, so i pulled over and waited for him lol, got a reckless driving ticket :( well turns out the next day, all the guys were laughing at me, im like whats up?? There like your such an idiot, that cop was behind you before the light turned green!!!

Yes, i do admit, i was stupid to even do that. but it was the peeeer presure!! lol

Sorry, pal, but LOL!!! http://www.plauder-smilies.de/lach.gif That's a good one!

I've been pulled over three times; got a ticket each time.

1. Doing 85 (90, really) in a 55 mph zone. Speeding Ticket.
2. Doing 55 in a 40 mph zone. Speeding Ticket.
3. Pulled over for expired registration tags. If it wasn't a bike cop, he never would have been close enough to see it. :( Ticket.

So, I try not to do more than 14 mph over the limit.

Man, where to start. Mine is long, sorry :)

1.)I was 16 and 28 days, young, thought I was cool, and mommy and daddy bought me a car that a 16 year old should not have. It was a 83' Trans Am, kind of like KIT on Night rider. Well, what I got pulled over for, was something dumb. Me and a few friends were pulled over in a parking lot, just BS'ing, when we decided to cruise across the street to 7-11 to get a drink. Well, it was like 1AM, and I forgot to turn my damn lights on. Sure enough, some cop saw me and pulled me over. I explained we just drove across the street, but nope, he got me. I also didnt have my insurance cards in the car so he got me for that too.

2.)I was 17, and I was smart and ditched the Trans Am, for a 87 Nissan Pulsar (awsome little car, and I just sold it 2 months ago) At this time, I was really into having loud stereos. I had crammed 2 orion 15's in the back of that car. Well, we lived in a very mormany neighborhood, where the people despised punk kids. Well, I happened to be a punk kid. So, they kept complaining to the cops, that I would come tearing in late at night with my stereo blasting, waking everyone up. After so much of that, the cops started watching. Sure enough, I get pulled over, for some noise vilotion, and speeding  After that, I grew out of the 15's, and went to 2 10's, much quieter :)

3.) Same car, (my pulsar) I was waiting at intersection, wanting to turn right. There was dumbass, just sitting there. I waited for like 30 seconds, and he still did not go. So I swerved out around him, and turned. Well, a cop was sitting across the intersection, watching me, and sure enough, pulled me over. I got off with a warning for that one, because I said I was leaving for bootcamp in 2 weeks, and that ticket would ruin my chance :)

4.) 10 days after incedent #3, I was driving when it was just starting to get really dark. I didnt want to turn my headlights on, so I just turned my park lights, and fog lights on. Well, some cop didnt like that idea, and pulled me over. I got a warning on that, used the bootcamp story, again :p

5.) 2 years went by, without a problem. At this time, I had my first civic. I was still living in California, so I had CA ID's, registration, etc. I came home for 3 weeks of leave, and had some fun. One night, we went out cruising, before we went to the races. Well, this cop, along the road, walked out and told me to pull over. He said I cannot have red lights in my headlights. I asked him to show me what he was talking about, and he couldnt, then (NOTE: I had red streetlights, in my headlights, that lit up the whole headligh assembly red. It looked really cool, with my red car. They had a toggle switch, to turn them on and off.) Anyways, I turned them off when he walked up to me. Since he couldnt get me for the headlights, he got me for everything he could. Lowerd suspension, modified exhaust, no shoulder strap on my seat belt, (had a 5 point harness, just wore the lap belt) I dont remember all that he wrote me up for, but it was like 5 things. # days later I went to the court, and talked to some judge guy. I told him that I lived in CA, and was home on leave from the military. He told me to go across the hall, and get a officer to look at the car. If the officer said it was OK, he would throw the ticket out the window. So, me and the cop went out and looked at the car, for like 30 minutes :) He thought it was pretty sweet :) End result, tickets thrown out.

6.) In my civic. Me and some friends were sitting at my buddies dads Gas station. We were talking about burn outs, and I was bet, I couldnt do a burnout for 1 minute. I took them on the offer, and started roasting the tires. Well, a cop was on the other side of the wall, and heard it all. He cam tearing around the corner with his lights on. He told me to get out of the car. He started bitching at me about how he would write me up for Exhabiton of speed, wreckless ednagerment, and a few other BS things. Well, my friend stood up and said his dad owned the place, and he didint care what we did on it. The cop got all pissed off. He told me he was going to watch out for me, and drove off. That was funny.

7.)This time, I was in my G20. We were at a light, next to a probe, who was egging me on for a race. The light turns green, and we are off. We hit about 70mph, when my radar detector goes off, so I slow down, and the probe flies by me. Well, sure enough, around the corner, was a cop. He pulls out and busts the probe. I thought cool deal, im safe. Well, the next light was red, so I stop, waitng to turn left. When it turns green, I didnt want to wait for the cars to pass, so I punch it. Well, a cop saw that, pulled me over, and I got a ticket for failure to yield

Bah, thats about all I can remember :)

1) roll stop
2)45 in a 30(residential)
3)37 in a 20(school zone) Got a Warning!!
4)60 in a 45 Got a Warning!!
5)96 in a 55(highway) Got a ticket & a lecture about tire blow outs
6)And my best one yet. 123 in a 65(highway) Got an F-ing WARNING!!!!!!! The Cop was cool as sh!t.... He could have busted me for racing, reckless driving and endangerment, and oh yeah speeding. But he was cool. Thank God! I was racing a GXSR 750 in my RX7TT. We wipped through some traffic and I was ahead and as soon as it opened up I punched it. The bike was starting to come around me for the pass and boom Lights everywhere. The bike kept going an I pulled over. Then the officer told me..."hey I think you were about to loose" We laughed and shot the sh!t a little then he told me to be careful, and I was on my way.

Now who has a better WARNING than that??

Well, when I was under the influance of my parents, I guess I was. But when I joined the military, and lived outside of Utah, and outside of the US. I had a chance to see what else was out there. So as of now, no, I am not. :)

I got two warnings, 1st one was because the cops radio came on asking for help, and he said see ya later.

The other time I had consumed a recreational substance, when I blew a red light, got pulled over. I Proceeded to pass the sobriety test while the grill of the cops car was talking to me, and his face was melting. He had no idea his face was melting, or that his car was shapeshifting and talking.
He let me drive off with 6 other 'adventurers' in the car. Craziness.

One time on road to Palm Springs, was in my 92 Nissan Pickup with the speedo needle buried. speedo went up to 105 i think, so I was going a little over that. Then, I looked in my rear view to see these real tiny red lights waaayyyy back in the distance. I pulled over and waited a minute or so for the pig to catch up and pull over. No warning- $1G fine and license suspended. Fucking dumb ass judge in the middle of the desert...I aint forgot you!

Rest of my tickets have been pretty average speeding tickets. One, was this female cop, but she was real butch. Well, I was kinda nervous and when she asked "Do you know how fast you were going" I replied- "No sir."....oops. I knew then I was getting the ticket then.

That's pretty funny!!

For some reason most of the officers here always ask me if I know why they pulled me over. Or why was I going the speed I was. I've always wanted to reply "because I couldn't get it to go any faster", But I figure that would definitely geet me the ticket.

Why is that? I have never seen a hot lady cop. They always have the boot camp cut which is always kind of fluffy for some reason, and they always have kind of a deeper voice. I wouldnt mind being pulled over if it was shannon elizabeth telling me to "spread 'em" ;)

There was this "hot" lady cop where I went to highschool. She always patrolled the school zones. Sometimes she would do crossing guard type things. Well she was about 5'3", long Blonde curly hair, and good looking. We were senoirs at the time(felt old at the time too) and we would always ask her out while walking to our cars. She probably thought we were idiots but it was fun. A couple of my friends would go a little far though. They would ask her to frisk them and stuff. I didn't really think that was a good thing to do. But anyway....

When I was young there was this smokin Highway Patrol lady...
She had shoulder length blonde hair, great set of..uhhh..handcuffs, and she looked great in the CHP uniform.

Her name was Bonnie.... Hey, maybe some of you know her, did anyone ever watch CHiPs?

But seriously, I've seen a few hot cops. Not alot, but they are out there...Well, maybe it's a regional thing...this is SoCal, and hot broads are everywhere.:sun:

But, it does sound like Deftonez got pulled over by the same cop, poofy mullet style hair, and real gruff voice.

Iv been helped by a cop when the fuse blew in my head lights.
Sitting the side of the road, no lights, just got my lisence about a week ago, and these damn lights turn on behind me. Cop gets out and starts grilling about who owns the car, finds out its all legit, asks whats wrong and suddenly becomes all nice. Helps me switch some fuses rounds, tells me not to worry about no longer having indicators and im off. Easy, some cops can be nice guys.

2nd time.
Passing an old lady, or trying to pass in a passing lane, she wouldnt move over so I moved up real close stuck the lights on high beam and stood on the horn. Cop comes the other way just as she starts to move over and I punch it and pass her.
About 2min later I see the lights and get pulled over. Two real young cops straight out of school start giving me shit about dangerous driving and how the lady is going to lay a complaint against me, I just say well then I want to lay a complaint aginst her, they dont even bother listening to me and just threaten to post me a ticket and walk off and get back in the car and drive away. Never heard from them again, but Iv talked to enough cops through an old job that I know they were breaking most of the rules of engagment, and I could have easily gone to the complaints authority if I had recieved a ticket and got them in a lot of trouble.

3rd time, I driving home and theres a car comeing the other way with its lights on high beam. I flash my lights at him and he dips them, we pass in the night and all is sweet. About 3k further on I can see red and blue flashing lights comeing real fast down the hill behind me, I pull over at the safest spot and wait for them to go past thinking something major is going on up ahead, only he stops behind me. Another young cop gets out and walks up to the car real carefully, peaks inside and shines his light around then asks if I was all right, then asks why I flashed my lights at him. I nearly cracked up laughing, I never realised it was cop car, and just told him he nearly blinded me with his high beams, he gets all imbarrased and goes "uhh, sorry. I thought something was wrong and you were getting my attention" we have a little laugh, he tells me to take it easy and leaves.

Oh and Iv been walking into a rally stage when a cop I knew from Work recognised me and stoped to give me a lift. Got taken through the stage at SPEED in the back of the car, and let off in frount of a whole lot of ppl I knew with the lights and siren going.
That was kinda cool, looked like I was some kinda Race VIP.

Dunno if the G can do it yet but that was with my old Integra. It was like 4 inthe morning on the Metropolitain Highway that passes through the city of Montreal. Had a friend on board and this guy in a mustang hugs my rear end.

I slammed on the nitrous and gave him a run for his money.

My friend says "Maybe we should slow down there might be a cop" and I'm like " Nahhh! There's never any cops around here"...Thats when my little blue friends decided to make there presence known. I pulled over immediately..the mustang tried to go around me and get away but the other 2 cop cars (turned out there was a speeding operation going down) caught up with him further ahead.

The cop asked me how fast I was going...I figured I better not lie so I told the truth "Sorry I don't know sir, there are no numbers where the needle was on the speedo"

Thats when he showed me his radar gun with 259.6 km/h written on it.

I laugh about it now but it wasn't funny when it happened.

been stopped 3 times,
first time 76 in a 55 = ticket
2nd time 81 in a 55 = warning (a little backwards if you ask me)
3rd time was going home, at around 2am and got behind a cop at a stop sign, he turned right, i turned left, the bitch pulls a U in the middle of the road, flies up on my ass and flips on the lights 20 fucking feet from my road. so i pull over and he says "you don't have a front license plate" when i told him i did he went to check and when he came back he says "so you do...you sit tight and i'll get you a warning" "warning for what? you pulled me over for no reason" he went back to his car, i thought to get the pointless warning and then left

well...since you didnt show today, there's prolly a bench warrent for your arrest so you might want to check on that...and then just go to the office and pay it I'd assume. But, if there's a warrent, odds are you'll be cuffed and such

about missing your courst date, just go into the courthouse and tell someone, "I missed my court date by accident and I want to pay my ticket." The bench warrant will take weeks to clear, I guarantee it. They won't cuff you if you go in asking if you can pay your ticket.

OT, I got pulled over for 55 in a 40, 112$
Pulled over for 57 in a 35, warning. This one was a special situation though because I had hawaii plates in Ohio, and I just told him I didnt know the speed limit, or the area. Plus it was down a steep grade hill. Other than that... no. I've always gotten away with real speeding. The 55 was just normal driving on the highway, and just so happened to get tagged. He caught me in a rare occasion where I wasn't flying.

I've been pulled over three times.

First I was in my old jeep grand cherokee driving on this wet grassy area on the side of my school sliding around. I left to get more gas and then came back to do it again. For some reason I just took the road behind the school instead of the grass and the cop pulled me over. He said "We've had a lot of problems with people riding over the grass. But I didn't see you do it... yet". Then he let me go. no ticket or warning

Second time was in my 2000 eclipse coming home from a camping trip at 130 in the morning. Got all the way back into my town after a three hour trip and the cop pulls me over. Asks me how fast I was going and I said maybe 60-65. He laughs and tells me I was going well over seventy (I was probably going around 80). Let's me off with a written warning. I still think it was bullshit he pulled me over at 130 in the morning when I was the only person on the road.

Third time I was in my mom's explorer sliding around in the snow up in my old highschools parking lot. I was up there for like five minutes and then saw a car come up the drive. I instantly knew it was a cop so I stopped sliding and made my way to the exit. Cop pulled me over and gave me a written warning for wreckless driving. LOL the funny thing is that the cop actually called my house at 1 in the morning and when no one answered left a message asking if my mom wanted to come and get me or to let me go with the appropriate paper work.

Let me start by saying that I was commenting on originally, the lack of posts from others including mods about this thread. In the past there has been a flurry of responses when someone (usually a newbie) brings up an archived post,( some that are even newer than the 3 1/2 yr old one in question.) The member who ressurected this post happens to be a newbie,in fact this was his first post. They obviously didn't read this:http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=88808
I was just surprised that this flew under the radar for so long without being noticed,( except by Kate and me.)The member could've started a new thread about the subject. :2cents:

Thats true he could have, however it was not a thread of " WHAT CAR SHOULD I BUY, or WHAT IS THE BEST ENGINE". This must have happened to you or else it wouldn't be such a big deal whether or not he brought up an older thread that he contributed in. BTW don't be coming down on new ppl to the forums just because it says NEWBIE under their name for in fact I am still a NOOB as well as you.
