First ever, Porsche 911

Hey all, im new here :)
I have been looking on this forum alot and i really liked the cars you build, then i thought i might try it out myself. And heres the result, its really not good, but i have to start somewhere, right?

Welcome to AF! Well this is the place to be if you are going get into building pastic model cars, Good effort on your first model! Your skills will get better especially if you frequent this forum. There are a lot of very talented modelers here, some are absolutely insane (i mean that as a compliment) hehe.

I think ill have fun browsing and using AF, im going to my local store tomorrow, getting some models :D

Welcome to AF. You are right. We all have a 1st model. We will always remember that tho.

haha i remember my first model. a brush painted mustang which ended up under 6inches of gravel a week later. lol back in the day. anyway that is a really well built porsche, especially for your first. good job:)

you ve chosen not the best model, the italeri-revell porsche to start with.
Should you go for another one, get a tamiya, it'll br a good investment and it'll look even better!

Now go ahead and dig yourself through the How-to?-threads to get into heavy and shiny paint jobs. We all want to improve, don´t we:rofl: ?

I just bought a Tamiya Subaru WRX STI, any good tips before i begin on it?

Work on the body and paint job with sanding paper, primer, spraycan- oder airbrushpaint, compounds and wax. Just check the How-to of a paint job. This will increase the overall appearance of the next model and will be an incredible step forward, you´ll be proud of.
