Yogsvr4 need you answers ole wise one !

ok i have a 92 vr4 rods a knocking, i bought a shortblock from the dealer. car has 79k miles ,just for kicks what else would you replace shooting from the hip that is. I cant go off the deepend with everything new. I already put a new oil pump on short block and a new waterpump. I bought this car 700.00 off a golf course. needed a fuel pump and computer before she would start. car is in good shape considering. front leather seat are toast. electricaly everything works great. car starts and runs just knocks pretty bad. I greatly appreciate your oppinion. thanks

ps. iv redone 4 american cars and trucks from the muscke car era and an 86 rx7 but this car is new to me.:screwy:
