96 stratus turns over by itself

:banghead: I have a 96 stratus that i just put a transmission in. Now it turns over by itself when i hookup the batt.Does not start just turns over by itself. i took the starter off and had it checked its o.k.

I just went through the same thing with my Stratus. Mine is a 97, but the same thing. The problem is next to the computers under the hood. There is 2 identical sets of plugs there where the engine and trans plug into. The engine plugs into the set closest to the fire wall and the trans plugs into the set closest to the nose. If those are backwards, try to switch them and it should fire fine.

Something is wrong with the solenoid that activates the starter
