Ok so we got our 2005 TB EXT with the dvd... however we got out of the dealership at about 9:45pm and they said they would mail us the remote and headphones... they are 2hrs away from us...
so no biggie...
however we were using the dvd player this weekend... and listening to it via car radio....
since I dont have the headphones yet... can the person watching the dvd use the headphones and the person driving use say the xm radio? I would believe we could do that or else what is the purpose of the headphones...
Thanks
Jeff

Yes. Audio is transmitted to the headphones from the DVD via an IR optical link. If you're not using the DVD audio output (direct wired or FM modulated), you can use the sound system for something else. At least that's the way all the aftermarket units work. Don't forget to turn the fader all the way to the front speakers, so the audience in the back doesn't have to use excessive volume in the headphones.
