scratchbuilt from plastic boards and paper clip for the lock levers. They will stay at this height only, perfect for keeping painted side skirts/rocker panels/front bumper/front lip/rear bumper/rear lip from getting scratched or stained by the rough, dirty table surface.

Always use jack stands after lifting up a vehicle with a floor jack!!

Very nice!

Apart from the color, they look just like the sears set I have.

Oh, the Fujimi Tool set comes with jack stands, but they are not anything like these.

That is a homemade printed decal using the testors decal paper and corel draw. Really really hard to use if the surface is not polished flat and DEAD smooth though.

Fujimi has some jack stands in their garage tools too but those are different type, and only has 2. I would never want to spend $30+ for their garage tools when I can scratchbuild most of them with my left over plastic cards/pieces/rods over the last 5 years.

That's a nice idea, and those stands look sweet. One problem I see with your car though, Road Race doesn't deal in Honda parts! http://bhop73.com/stuff/mitsubishi_logo.gif :evillol: http://bhop73.com/stuff/forumfun/icons/party.gif

Well done on finding the problem, but there is also another problem with the car: Apparently this civic runs on MIVEC and VTEC BOTH AT THE SAME TIME! hehehe~~

Planning to build a hoist soon too, along with some small pieces such as wrenches/ratchet/screwdriver. However I have to worry about these parts getting lost after completion.

Hi,

Scale Production made some tests some weeks ago with Jack Stands. Here is the result.

The base is a PE part that needs to be folded. The rod is from Evergreen, I drilled a hole in it and put in a cut needle. Top of the jack is another PE part. Everything airbrushed in red and given a wash.
