1992 gt running probs.

my 92 1st gen 2.2 turbo is have idleing probs. when it is first started it takes it a bit to get up to normal operating rpms, and smoothness. but it then runs good untill it is warmed up for a while, then when i take it out of gear to come to a stop( its man.) it almost dies, but once you have stopped and let it idle there for a bit it will idle unsteadily at low rpms and often die if you dont slightly give it gas. also as you shift gears or leave it in gear as u come to a stop it has lots of back firing. i just changed the spark plugs wires dist cap and rotor, and put a new battery in it. also this morning the battery was dead and i didnt leave anything on, thus the new batt now. pleeeeeeeeeeeezzzz help, really starting to get pissed, think it may be fuel, but not wanting to spend money on it if it wont fix it.

figured it out had aftermarket ram air and it was sucking in leaking exhaust air from my leaking turbo gasket and replaced it with factory intake now works fine.
