Good cam.
Good power range...good idle...not too big so it is okay for a daily driver.
Good choice.
What valvesprings are you going to run??
Upgrading pushrods?
Upgraded oil pump?
Upgrading timing chain?

Comp 918's
TSP harderend stock length push rods
TSP's ported LS6 oil pump
LS2 timing chain
Although... i know upgrading the oil pump is a very good idea, ive been keeping an eye on my current one and the pressure it keeps and it seems pretty strong, 60 at cold start and idle and 40 at hot idle and 60 at highway speeds. U think i should chance it or not?

Mileage??
For some reason....the oil pump likes to go out without warning. Or at the very least start to produce much lower pressures quickly.
If you are over 55K miles, I would recommend change it. This is something you can't leave to chance...plus you (or install shop) will already be there. Very easy install with the front timing cover off.

Thats cool, im just over 56k, i didnt want to chance but i was thinking about it. It wont go in untill may so it will have more than 56k on it. Better safe than sorry.

Yup.
I could have used my old stocker as well....but I went with a VRE ported LS6 pump. My stocker had 29,200 on it.
I am noticing much better oil pressure than before.
